DUBAI: The Dubai Health Authority’s (DHA) has implemented a first-of-its-kind online system to facilitate a completely paperless environment. The implementation of this system will benefit over thousands of establishments, particularly those in the health sector.

The system will benefit the DHA’s customers as it is cost-effective, time-saving and can be accessible from anywhere in the world. Through the system, all customers can make their payments online as well using the e-pay system, said a senior official.

Yousif Al Zarouni, director of Purchasing and Contracts Department at the DHA, said the system will be particularly beneficial for all suppliers, especially those who are outside the Emirate.

“With the implementation of this system, customers do not need to visit the DHA premises to submit their documentation. They can log on to the website, and once they receive a unique username and password, they can submit all their documentations online. This is of significant benefit for those customers who are based in other emirates or abroad,” he elaborated.

“The system is very unique and every customer will have access to their online file. Customers can make changes to their files electronically and so do not need to submit any documentation for this purpose. Once they get access from the DHA, they can update all their information,” added Al Zarouni.

Wafa Al Mohaisin, head of Follow-up and Development Office at the DHA, said, “The system is highly advanced and all customers will also get an e-mail notification, two months prior to the expiry of their registration.”
